Clearpick's guides are currently published under a collective editorial byline. We do not use invented experts, credentials, or work histories to support our recommendations.
What the editorial team does
The team defines the scope of each guide, checks product information against official vendor sources, compares options for a stated use case, edits the article, and reviews correction requests. The person responsible for the publication makes the final editorial decision; software vendors cannot purchase a ranking or an editorial change.
How we describe our evidence
Our pages should make the source of each important conclusion clear:
- Tested by Clearpick means the team accessed the product and completed the scenario described on the page.
- Verified in official documentation means the claim was checked against a vendor's pricing page, help center, product documentation, or terms.
- Reported by the vendor identifies information that Clearpick could not independently reproduce.
If direct product access was not available, we should say so. Documentation research is not presented as hands-on testing.
Use of editorial tools
Clearpick may use software tools, including artificial intelligence, to support research organization, outlining, or language editing. These tools are not treated as sources. Product claims and recommendations remain subject to editorial verification before publication. When a page has not yet received that level of review, it should not claim that it has.
Accountability and corrections
A collective byline does not remove accountability. If you find an inaccurate price, unavailable feature, broken link, or unsupported statement, email contact@clearpick.io with the page URL and a primary source when possible. Confirmed factual errors are corrected in the article.
